Orange and Blue Baby Shower
The theme was blue and orange for the baby boy and the whole party was dripping with creative DIY ideas! Below is the dessert table with paper pom pom flowers(tutorial below) twirling above the yummy treats, including the blue cotton candy on display. They had a real cotton candy maker at the shower so everyone joined in on the fun and ate delicious cotton candy in the hot sun!
The framed two signs below, “Gifts” and “Diaper Raffle” were originally just two art frames. They were sprayed with chalk board spray paint, easily found in your local hardware store, and then written on with chalk. This was one of my favorite parts of the shower. It was a party game that can be used at bridal showers as well. Everyone was given a list of questions, a mustache-on-a-stick and lips-on-a-stick. One person read the questions one by one and we had to try and guess if the question applied to Mom or Dad. For example, the first question was “Who was born in Kentucky?” So if you thought it was Mom then you put on your lips and if you thought it was Dad you put on your mustache. The sticks were made from popsicle sticks and cardstock, but I also listed their tutorials below.
