I Eat Mainely Lobster

Wow. I swatched these quick status. I’m REALLLYYYY digging all these colors for fall. So far, I’m impressed with all the Fall collections I’ve seen. This is no exception. Onwards!

Uh-Oh Roll Down The Window- HA. I needed two coats. This I would describe as a really murky dusty dark olive green. Let’s see how many more adjectives I can throw in there….

I Brake For Manicures- I needed two coats. I would say this is a really interesting shade. It’s purple but not quite brown, but brown and not quite purple. It’s creme-y goodness and I love. Whatever color it decides to be.

Road House Blues- I needed two coats. A really dark navy violet, with a slight dusty feel to it. Are you starting to see the dusty trend? You know what? I think the fall trend is going to be a bunch of dusty colors! GENIUS!

My Address is “Hollywoodâ€- Really? The name kills me. I needed two coats. As much as the name makes me cringe a little, the color makes my heart float. I love this medium salmon pink with a slight shimmer. It sparkles and sings my name!

Color To Diner For- NAME CRINGE. I needed two coats. This is a raspberry red with a slight shimmer. I actually liked this a lot more on my nails than I did in the bottle.

French Quarter For Your Thoughts- I needed two coats. I LOVE the name of this one. Despite the fact that it’s a little long, I can deal! I would say this is a medium grey creme. It reminds me a lot of wet asphalt. Wow, will you look at my descriptions?! I should’ve been a poet.

Get In The Expresso Lane- I needed two coats and probably could have used a third. Please excuse the dragging. This is a dark chocolate brown but with a really slight touch of olive. (I sound like I’m cooking)

Are We There Yet?- I needed three coats. This is a really pretty apricot-ish, orange-ish, peach-ish sorbet (the actual sorbet, not the finish) with a slight shimmer. It’s quite pretty, and it doesn’t really say “FALL†to me, but eh, it’s pretty!

A-Taupe the Space Needle- CUTE NAME! I actually like this little punny. I needed two coats. This would be a medium taupe. If that makes sense at all. Not all taupes are created equal.

Honk If You Love OPI- Name overkill. I needed three coats for this, and I think this was my favorite out of the collection. It’s a really dark almost vampy purple that has that soft smoky feel to it. I really liked this for some reason.

Suzi Takes The Wheel- I needed two coats. I really want to meet Suzi, in person, so I can put a face to the name. This would be described as a dusty grey green, it reminded me a lot of color a clay mask dries to. Does anyone see this?! Or am I crazy.

I Eat Mainely Lobster- I needed two coats. This is an electric peachy coral with a slight shimmer. This doesn’t scream “FALL†to me either but I think it’s a pretty daring move to put a bold color like this in a fall collection. I LOVE IT!

Overall, I think the collection offers a little bit of something for everyone. The creme lovers, from bright colors to darker sultry colors. This collection has got it all going on. Formula on all was typical OPI. If you see running in any of the pictures it’s because I screwed up it’s not the formulas fault. I think the collection is overall pretty decent, and worth checking out for yourself. I can’t say there’s a single color that jumps out as a must have if that makes sense. Any colors you’re eyeing?
