Eleanor of Aquitaine, in the movie A Lion in Winter, based on the play by the same name, was portrayed by the legend-in-her-own-right Katherine Hepburn. I urge everyone to see this version (and the Glenn Close, Patrick Stewart version, for that matter) as they are both very well done!
